For this assignment the primary source that I have chosen is Carrie Chapman Catt, Address to Congress on Women’s Suffrage (1917). This is an important source that tell us about that time period when the United States entered the First World War and struggled in foreign land to win. In the United States, on the other hand, another struggle was going on and that was struggle for women’s suffrage that would eventually be recognized in 1918 (Voices of Freedom, 112).
